It's time for our yearly Not So Haunted House Charity Fundraiser & Blood Drive! We will again be converting the studio into a child friendly, yet gently spooky haunted house on Friday Oct. 29 & Sat. Oct. 30 from 12 -5. Receive a FREE Portrait of your little ones (FAMILIES WELCOME!) for your canned goods or monetary donation benefiting the St. Marys United Methodist Church Food Bank. Your little ones will enjoy the 2 bouncy houses, pony rides (Sugar, Casper & Buddy... so sweet! ) as well as face painting, and a hayride from the studio to downtown St. Marys to see all of the scarecrows on display, and other actvities.....all FREE!
We will also have Paige's Helping Hands with us on both days with yummy baked goods! Okay, so I'm always behind with trying to upload our current work so I thought I would take a few minutes to upload to our blog. Below is Chelsea. Another 2011 Camden Senior. Chelsea is so beautiful, very intelligent and has a WONDERFUL personality! She was a total blessing to work with. We had loads of fun and I can't wait to see her back in a few days!
We designed a Senior Expression Portrait for Sean showing his love of video games and Japanese comics. As quiet as he was coming in to the studio I had a lot of fun getting to know him and getting to see his true self during our shoot. From now until Sep. 17 we will be photographing our Take Me Out to the Ballgame set complete with darling vintage baseball uniforms for boys and girls. This set is designed to evoke nostalgia for a time gone by... when children were free to play baseball with one another on empty lots or old abandoned fields, which is how we've designed the setting for this charming scene. We also have adorable props to complete the scene - baseballs, bats, gloves, and even faux ice cream cones... because baseball day always means ice cream after the game! If you like the nostalgic look of Norman Rockwell's art, you'll love this scene when it is hanging on your wall!
